White House West Wing tour

Our friend Ashley, from our Small Group arranged a White House West Wing tour on May 20th, for the women in our group. It was a great experience! Here is a picture taken inside the gate, by the front lawn of the White House

Nationals Game Memorial Day weekend

On May 25th, we had the opportunity to attend a Washington Nationals vs. Milwaukee Brewers game with friends from our Small Group through church. We had a great time, and to top it off, the Nats won 6-5 in the 9th inning due to a wild pitch.

While Great Grandpop and MeMom visited, we went to see the memorials in Washington DC. Here is Great Grandpop at the Korean War Memorial. You can see his reflection on the Memorial.

Visit to the World War II Memorial

Great Grandpop Louie was very happy to visit the WWII Memorial during his visit. He served in the Navy during WWII, and is registered with the National Park Service; this enabled him to look is name up in the registry while we were there.

It was a beautiful, sunny and warm day for our visit. We could not have asked for better weather.

MeMom and Great Grandpop Louie visit

A few days after our return from Florida, we had the opportunity to visit with MeMom and GreatGrandpop Louie for a few days. We all had a great time! Casey enjoyed playing, singing and showing off for our guests.

Mother's Day with Family in Florida

We spent Mother's Day in Florida with family. In the morning, we enjoyed a nice breakfast with Grandpa Bruce and Great Grandparents Bill and Irene. Early that afternoon, we had the opportunity to spend the rest of the day with Casey's Aunt Denise, Uncle Art and cousins Amanda and Amara. It was lots of fun going the the pool and the beach, and seeing how Casey reacted to the new experience.

Grandparents in Florida

We had a great time on Mother's Day weekend visiting Greatgrandparents Bill and Irene, as well as Grandpa Bruce. Casey was as adorable as ever, and very well behaved during our trip. She really liked to show off her happy, smart self. Grandpa Bruce really made her laugh!
